| ARS – General Rules and Procedures | |
| A. Participant Conduct | |
| 1. All participating teams; are expected to conduct themselves in a professional | |
| and non-disruptive manner at all times. | |
| 2. Any participant; family or team at any time that violates the rules; | |
| procedures; and regulations; may be penalized accordingly. | |
| 3. A penalty may include; not included; not limited to; probation, disqualification, | |
| suspension, expulsion and/ or fines. | |
| B. Participant’s Guest and/or Sponsors | |
| 1. All participating teams are responsible for any/all guests, sponsors, etc. | |
| 2. Anyone who is deemed to be associated with a participating team, who | |
| by conducting themselves in a disruptive manner, shall be deemed to have | |
| violated the rules; procedures; regulations; and may cause a participating team | |
| member to be penalized accordingly. | |
| 3. Penalty may include; not limited to; probation, disqualification, suspension, | |
| expulsion and/or fines. | |
| Driver Safety / Kart Operation- | |
| A. Safety Check of Karts | |
| 1. It is the kart owners; handlers; responsibility to insure their karts are in a | |
| safe operating condition. | |
| 2. A kart that is deemed unsafe will be barred from participating or | |
| racing, until the necessary changes are made and approved upon inspection. | |
| B. Driver Safety Equipment Check | |
| 1. Participants must use approved racing apparel, helmets, gloves, neck collar, | |
| arm restraints, and any other available safety equipment available on | |
| the open market as maybe required by the sanctioning body of any event. | |
| 2. Spot checks maybe required at any given time. | |
| C. Karts Numbers | |
| 1. It is the responsibility of each kart owner/driver; that their karts | |
| display numbers that are legible from the scoring tower. | |
| 2. Duplicate numbers will not be allowed in the same class / division. | |
| 3. The kart number that is registered to a driver that enters on the 1st | |
| race of the point series cannot change their number. | |
| 4. Numbers must be; light on dark background or dark on light backgrounds, | |
| if scorers cannot read the numbers; driver will not be scored. | |
| 5. Caged vehicles must have [ 4 ] numbers; 1 on rear, 1 on front, two on number | |
| panels mounted on upper rear; portion on each side of cage. | |
| 6. Flat karts must have [ 4 ] numbers; one on front nose; | |
| one (1) on left portion of the nose, one (1) on right portion of nose, | |
| one (1) on each side, and one (1) number panel mounted on rear Bumper. | |
| 7. If a kart does not have the legible numbers on the vehicle as required; | |
| driver will not be scored. | |
| 8. If a kart that does not have when assigned transponder in the designated | |
| place as required; driver will not be scored. | |
| 9. On any given race event, when more than one entry in a class has the same number, ‘ARS’ | |
| reserves the right to mandate a change of the driver’s number, and that number will be used for | |
| scoring for the duration of the points race season. | |
| D. Racing Conditions of the Track | |
| 1. Racing conditions of the track will be decided by the Chief Steward / Director. | |
| 2. The flagman may stop a race at any time due to track conditions. | |
| E. Safety – Teams | |
| 1. No one is to enter the interior portion of the track Fencing (restricted area) | |
| during a practice or race event, unless approved to do so by the chief Steward | |
| /Race Director. | |
| 2. The restricted area includes; Line up grid, entrance to track surface, infield, | |
| pit row, pit boxes, exit from track surface, including the exit grid/scale area. | |
| 3. Only (2) team members per kart maybe allowed in the restricted | |
| areas at any time. | |
| 4. Only (2) team handlers during a practice or race must stand in the | |
| designated areas. | |
| 5. Designated area for only (2) team members is behind the fence, off turn two. | |
| 6. Team Handlers during a practice or race shall not block the view of | |
| the spectators / race fans on the bleachers. | |
| 7. Any team who does not follow these procedures; may cause for | |
| their Driver to be disqualified for the day. | |
| F. Shutting off or stalling cars | |
| 1. Regarding any Driver while on the track surface causes a car or kart to | |
| shut off or stall during a race to gain an advantage; should such action take place, | |
| and it is deemed not to be of a mechanical fault; shall result in a | |
| black flag; no points shall be awarded. | |
| G. Tire Rule – ****Open Tire**** | |
| 1. In the event of a flat tire, after getting approval from a race official, | |
| the flat tire maybe replaced with a new tire in a hot pit. | |
| 2. Driver may run only one set of ‘new’ tires at each race event, same set in both | |
| ‘heats’ and ‘features’. | |
| RACING- | |
| A. Determining Racing Position | |
| 1. A designated scorer determines; the lineup. | |
| 2. Pit Steward informs; enforces; the lineup. | |
| 3. After green flag has been thrown; any adjustments to the lineup are communicated | |
| between the scoring tower; Chief Steward/Director. | |
| B. Practice | |
| 1. Practice will commence once a designated person is in place, | |
| continuously observing the track. | |
| 2. Only one division will practice at a time, unless approved by the Chief Steward/Director. | |
| 3. At no time will any rookie division practice with a competitive class. | |
| D. Pole Kart Responsibility | |
| 1. When ‘Green’ flag is displayed, the pole position car must ‘fire’ between | |
| turns three (3) and four (4.) | |
| E. Position / End of Race | |
| 1. The race is over when the checkered flag is dropped. | |
| 2. Finishes will be determined by the order in which karts cross the finish line. | |
| 5. Point Championship Awards to be determined at end of season. | |
| F. Pit Fees | |
| 1. All fees /charges must be paid prior to anyone entering the premises or | |
| track surface on race day. | |
| G. Points to be awarded | |
| 1. Feature Race Only – point values | |
| 1st = 50, 2nd = 48, 3rd = 46, 4th on down will decrease by One Point | |
| H. Race Day Awards | |
| 1. All awards will be based on Feature results. (Not Points) | |

2. Scale for Awards on Race Days to be determined on the number of participants per class. 3. Award distribution is based on kart count. 1-3 karts in a class will be awarded 1 trophy. 1-5 karts in a class will be awarded 2 trophies. 6 or more karts in a class will be awarded 3 trophies. |

| J. Races to be dropped | |
| 1. A ‘Code of Conduct” and/or “Technical” infraction cannot be used as a drop race. | |
| 2. Drivers must compete in 50% of events of season to be eligible for end of the season awards. | |
| K. Loss of Driver Points | |
| 1. Karts must take the Green Flag to receive points. | |
| 2. Points for non-finishers will be awarded according to their position in the field | |
| when their kart dropped out. | |
| 3. Karts disqualified for the following will receive ‘NO’ points; “Code of Conduct”, | |
| “Flagrant Rough Driving”, and/or “Technical Infraction”. | |

| L. Rain-Out Days | |
| 1. In the event of a complete “Rain-Out”, all registered drivers in the Championship Series will be awarded 50 points, if practice was started before the Chief Steward/Director announces the event to be officially “Rained Out”. | |
| 2. If no practice has started, entry fee will be returned to driver. No points will be awarded. | |
| 3. Rain make up race will be scheduled for a later date. | |
| 4. If all “Heat” races have been completed in all classes; once the Chief Steward/Director announces the event to be officially “Rained Out”, drivers will be awarded points based on Heat Race results. For those divisions that do not get to run a Heat race, you will be awarded 50 (1st) place points. | |
| Miscellaneous Rules- | |
| A. ‘When a Participant is in Doubt’ | |
| 1. They should ask the Chief Steward/Director for assistance with their concerns. | |
| 2. It is highly recommended that a ‘participant’ confirm any information received from | |
| another source, as it may not be the correct information as it pertains to these events. | |
| B. Financial Responsibility | |
| 1. We are a Cash only facility. There is no ATM on site. Please plan accordingly. | |
| C. Environmental Responsibility | |
| 1. Think before you throw, if it is ‘NOT’ Bio-Degradable, dispose of it properly. | |
| 2. Each participant is personally responsible for the removal of and proper disposal of their | |
| hazardous waste; examples; used fuel; tires; oil, and any other hazardous waste. | |
| 3. Participants are ‘Prohibited’ from placing hazardous waste unto the ground; into trash cans; | |
| or dumpster, a designated area with containers for ‘used’ oil is provided. | |
| 4. Do not block either driveway behind flag stand. | |
| 5. Mufflers on all vehicles are mandatory. | |
| 6. Repairs and fueling to be made in designated areas only, No refueling while driver is in kart. “No Exceptions”. | |
| 7. Equipment used for moving karts to the starting grid; from the exit grid; are to be | |
| used in these areas only, “No Exceptions. | |
| 8. Participants are required to keep all areas of entry and exits clear for the period of | |
| time the event is being held; for emergency vehicles; should they be required to enter the grounds at any time. | |

9. All drivers/karts must cross over scales after all Heats/Features to be awarded points. 10. Top 3 from each division must report to tech unless otherwise stated by Chief Steward/Director. |

| D. Pets on the Grounds | |
| 1. Pets can be wonderful companions, a friend for life, some pets are considered | |
| a part of the family, for those who must have their pets with them for the event, please | |
| consider your pets tolerance for outdoor activities. | |
| 2. Participants; pets must be current in required inoculations. | |
| 3. Pets must be secured on a six (6) foot leash; preferably shorter. | |
| 4. Pets are to be curbed in areas that are beyond the general public area walkways. | |
| 5. Pet owners must be prepared to remove any deposits made by their pets; | |
| left while walking in the general public walkways. | |

| E. Other vehicles | |
| 1. No vehicle other than those driven by the participating drivers are to be allowed on the | |
| surface of the track; unless approved by the Chief Steward/Director to remove a downed | |
| vehicle that cannot be pushed off the track. | |
| 2. Golf carts, ATV’s; or any other motorized vehicles are forbidden to be used on the track by unauthorized persons. | |
| 3. The track surface is a restricted area; Bicycles; skateboards; scooters; razors; etc. | |
| are not to be used on the track surface. Please find other alternatives with which to occupy | |
| minor’s that are not yet race driving in the competitions. Unless authorized by track personnel. | |
| F. Effective Immediately | |
| 1. All rules; procedures; will be enforced at all times. | |
| 2. Any rule change will take place immediately. | |
| 3. Anyone; who at any time or at any place associated or not with the event causes a scene | |
| or disturbance before the public shall be escorted from the event. | |
| 4. Should Law enforcement be required to serve as the escorts; charges will | |
| be brought against the guilty parties. | |
| 5. Ambassador Racing reserves all rights; without limitation; at any time; without prior | |
| notice; pertaining to the facility; to change; add; delete; rules; regulations; discontinue | |
| the use of; for known or unknown; reasons. | |

Radio Flyer ultimate karts only! Must be original equipment from the manufacturer! NO MODIFICATIONS! (this is a performance based rule, this does not include bodies, fairings, steering wheels or decals) parental common sense is necessary.

Stock # 7 that comes with kart must be changed for scoring purposes.

(****) Any driver born after Jan. 1st of the racing season may move up in a racing class with the approval of the racing director and/or the chief steward.
